When and where

The Bradenton Public Market runs every Saturday from October through May on Old Main Street, organized by the nonprofit Realize Bradenton.

Saturdays, Oct–May

On Old Main Street

Market parking

Old Main Street itself is closed to cars during the market, so plan on a garage.

Free garage parking

The City says parking in the City Centre Parking Facility (3rd Ave W between 10th and 12th Streets, 500 spaces) is “free until further notice.” It’s about a block from Old Main Street. (City of Bradenton)

A little market history

From 25 vendors to 100+

The market opened in 1979 as the Bradenton Farmers’ Market with 25 vendors at Manatee Ave and 9th St W, moved to Old Main Street in 1999, and has been coordinated by Realize Bradenton since 2009. Realize Bradenton puts it at over 100 vendors and about 3,200 visitors a Saturday. (Realize Bradenton history)
